Swimming pools: When starting up a new pool, superchlorinate to satisfy chlorine demand and to establish a chlorine residual of 1.0ppm – 2.0ppm available chlorine. To accomplish this, add 2 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons of pool water.

Hot Tubs: When starting up a new spa or hot tub, superchlorinate to satisfy chlorine demand and to establish a disinfectant chlorine residual of 1.0ppm – 3.0ppm available chlorine.

Product can be broadcast directly into swimming pool or hot tub water with water circulating. Alternatively, it may be pre-dissolved in a plastic bucket of water and the resulting slurry poured into the water.

Swimming pools: To maintain a chlorine residual of 1.0-2.0ppm available chlorine, add 2 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons of pool water. This product should be added daily or as needed at the rate of 1/4 – 1/2 ounce per 1000 gallons of pool water to maintain a chlorine residual at all times of 1.0ppm – 2.0ppm as determined by a suitable test kit. The pH should be maintained between 7.2 -7.6.

Hot Tubs: To maintain a chlorine residual of 1.0-2.0ppm available chlorine, add 1 oz. of this product per 500 gallons of spa water. This product should be added daily or as needed at the rate of 1/8 – 1/4 ounce per 500 gallons of spa water to maintain a chlorine residual at all times of 1.0ppm – 3.0ppm as determined by a suitable test kit. The pH should be maintained between 7.2 -7.6.

It is compatible with chlorine, salt chlorine generators, ozone and mineral systems.

Fast acting granular chlorine is effective at destroying bacteria, controlling algae and destroying organic contaminants. It can be used for daily maintenance or superchlorination purposes.
