The proper range of total alkalinity is between 80-120 ppm. A proper alkalinity range will buffer the spa water against sudden changes in pH. Do not add more than recommended amount.

To raise the total alkalinity of your spa by 10 ppm, add 1-1 1/4 oz. ( 2 1/2 Tbsp.) for every 500 gallons of spa water. Broadcast SPA ALKALINITY BOOST directly into the spa. Allow spa to circulate for two hours and retest.
